Marblewood Cupid, a quality Australian Stock Horse gelding with the talent—and attitude—to match. Registered #248659, Cupid is by the stallion Palmers Comic and out of Four HU Stud Volana, bringing together proven breeding and natural athleticism.

Owned & ridden by Cody Woodward, Cupid was purchased as a yearling from good friends at Marblewood Performance Horses and has gone on to become a key campaigner. He’ll be proudly representing NSW in the Open Men’s.

Cupid is a true all-rounder who plays anywhere, but he really thrives at the front, where his pace and agility make the biggest impact. He’s no stranger to the big stage either—having already played two Nationals, with Darwin set to be his third.

If Cupid were a famous person, he’d be Kotoni Staggs—explosive, powerful and always noticed.

Preparation isn’t always smooth sailing though; he’s very hard to manage, a very fussy eater, and keeps his team on their toes. Off the field, he’s affectionately described as “like a bad dog… always in the way.”
