Did you breed or purchase this horse?
Stilletto was purchased at the ASH Fountain of Youth Sale in 2012.

Best Position to Play:
Not specified – but with her speed, agility and athleticism she is a powerhouse across the field.

Nationals Experience:
This will be Stilletto’s first Polocrosse Nationals, making her Darwin debut extra special!

If this horse was a famous person, who would they be?
Simone Biles — quick, athletic and able to make difficult things look easy, all while remaining poised.

Quirkiest Habit:
Stilletto is very impatient at dinner time! She grabs the rail-hung feeder and lifts it up, dropping it with a bang on the rail to let everyone know she’d like her dinner right now. When she rides onto the field—especially a finals field—she feels like she grows an inch and puffs her chest out. She absolutely loves the game.

Biggest Achievements:
A three-way tie between some outstanding results:
Part of the winning A Grade team at the WA Club Championships in 2023 & 2024
Champion Horse & Rider Combination at the 2025 WA Club Championships
Les Marriott Overall Champion Horse of the 2025 Club Championships

More About Stilletto:
Stilletto is one of Nikki’s favourite horses to play. Her talents stretch well beyond polocrosse — she is also an open campdraft mare and an accomplished ASHS show horse.

Her journey highlights how many people contribute to producing a great horse. She was originally selected and purchased by Phil Cant of Hylux Performance Horses, started and drafted by Brandan Holland and Karen Sampson of Sunny Mia Performance Horses, before Nikki took the reins in the polocrosse arena.

As Nikki says, “It takes a village, and I am very grateful for mine.”

Good luck to Nikki and Binnia Stilletto representing Western Australia at the Darwin Polocrosse Nationals!
