𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞 (𝐄𝐏) 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧

The idea for Everything Polocrosse came from something quite simple. I had been seeing other pages and social media platforms dedicated to different horse sports and thought what a great concept it was—having everything related to that sport all in one place. It made me think, why not do the same for polocrosse? A place where the sport we all love could be shared, celebrated, and promoted not just within the community, but also to the outside world .

One of the biggest things I felt the polocrosse world was missing was a central hub. A one-stop place where people could find what they need—news, horse and rider profiles, businesses that support the sport, horses for sale, and polocrosse gear for sale. Most of us involved in the sport are time poor, and endlessly scrolling the internet trying to find information isn’t always practical. If it’s all in one place, it makes life so much easier .

My own background in polocrosse played a huge part in bringing EP to life. I was born into the Narrabri Polocrosse Club back in the 80s and grew up within the sport. It’s always been a big part of my life. Although I had to retire from playing due to medical reasons, I still love being involved and staying connected to the game. The friendships I made through polocrosse over the years are incredibly special, and that community spirit was a big motivation behind creating Everything Polocrosse .

I wanted EP to provide support and insight for players, clubs, and supporters of the sport. Things like horse profiles, stories, and features help showcase the depth of talent and passion within the polocrosse community. Highlighting the people and horses behind the sport is incredibly important to me because they truly are the lifeblood of it .

Another area close to my heart is photography and content creation . As a photographer myself, I know how hard it can be to get your work out there. Photographers and content creators give so much to their clubs and to the sport by capturing those moments on and off the field. I wanted EP to help provide a platform where their work could be seen and appreciated.

The polocrosse community itself has played the biggest role in helping EP grow. The concept has been received so warmly. People share posts, comment, and contribute information for profiles on horses, clubs, and players. Seeing everyone get behind it has been incredible and is really what keeps the page moving forward .

One of the most surprising things since starting EP has been the reach. Our social media is now reaching over 1 million people, which is pretty wild . While most of that audience is currently in Australia, I’ve also had follows and messages from players overseas, which is fantastic and shows just how far the sport can travel when it’s shared online .

A big part of EP is also about documenting the stories, horses, and memories within polocrosse. I’ve always loved reading horse stories—I’m a tragic horse girl at heart . While working on the Road to Darwin horse profiles, I’ve learned so much about the incredible horses within our sport. Mares competing at Nationals alongside their own progeny, horses that have played multiple Nationals and then produced foals that are now competing themselves. Those stories are something really special, and I love being able to share them.

Looking ahead, I hope Everything Polocrosse continues to grow and becomes the go-to place for polocrosse worldwide. A platform where the sport can be celebrated, shared, and supported by the people who make it what it is .

Seeing the polocrosse community get behind EP makes me incredibly happy and grateful. The idea had been sitting in my mind for a few years before I launched it. When it first started it was received really well, but then I had some more medical challenges to deal with. After taking some time, I adjusted my approach and came back to it—and now it’s really gaining momentum.

Everything Polocrosse is going great guns at the moment, and 2026 is already shaping up to be a very busy and exciting year .
