Iggy ~ 9yo QH Mare

9 year old 14.3 quarter horse mare.

Unregistered and unknown breeding.

Iggy is easy to do anything with. w,c,l,s.

Iggy has mainly been a polocrosse horse which she plays any position on the field. She big and strong but soft in the mouth, jumps out of her turns and isn’t afraid of other horses. Iggy will go the pace the rider wants. If you want up and go she will. If you want to poke along she will do that. She has 3 lovely paces to ride. Iggy loves kids and could be ridden by a capable one.

Iggy sliding stops, roll backs, picks up correct leads, can work in a frame but does need more work on this, started flying changes, and stands and waits for mounting.

Iggy has done minimal drafts for a places. She has also jumped and been to gymkhanas winning/placing. Can crack a whip off her and ride her away from others no issues. Iggy has been taken to events by herself and loads with one person.

Iggy is quirky but nothing nasty. She is girthy when saddling and flinches when saddling other horses around her, sometimes will pull back. She came to me like this. Never with this behaviour have I felt unsafe! Just in its there and expecting it. Can be fresh on the lunge but has never bucked under saddle.
She’s lovely to ride!
