2014 Heritage Stock Horse Gelding



This is not an easy sale and has taken a lot of thought. Earl is a horse I never imagined moving on, however I have come to realise that he isn’t a horse that is suited to myself and I know he has more to offer with the right rider who can continue to bring out his full potential.


Earl is best suited to an experienced and confident rider. He is not a beginner’s horse and performs best with someone who understands and enjoys a horse with plenty of ability and power behind him.


Earl performs best with a male rider on the polocrosse field as he can get strong in the game environment and benefits from someone confident to ride him forward. He is a strong 2–3 horse and when it comes to pushing, he is an absolute brick wall.


Earl has also started on the barrel pattern and has shown plenty of promise — at his first barrel race with no prior prep, he clocked an 18.785, showing his natural athleticism and ability. He would also have potential to continue developing in campdrafting.


He is easy to catch, shoe, float and worm and has been a pleasure to have around.


This is a genuinely difficult decision, and I am in no rush — finding the right home is far more important than making a quick sale.
